Quantified Self is the idea of measuring yourself, often using devices (trackers such as the Apple Watch, glucose monitoring devices…) and tests (genome, microbiome). The “issue” is that you often end up with a lot of goals to achieve (number of steps, bedtime hours, etc.) and so many data points that don’t make a lot of sense.
Achieving food personalisation for great daily and long-term health may be the greatest of all goals for FoodTech. But it is yet out of reach.
