Summary
Nobó was founded in Ireland in 2012 by husband and wife Brian and Rachel Nolan. The name comes from the Irish language meaning ‘no cow’ as we are dedicated to creating supremely delicious and healthy, dairy free foods. The first step in our journey begins with our gluten and dairy free ice-cream, using avocado, coconut milk and honey as the main ingredients.
Our success has been accelerated by taking part in the ‘Food Works Programme’ run by Board Bia, Enterprise Ireland and Teagasc. This programme connected us with food industry experts who helped us scale up Nobó’s production from local farmers markets to global supermarket shelves and we are now stocked in Supervalues nationwide. We are also available internationally in the UAE !
