Summary

In 2011, Cédric Auriol, passionate about innovation, nutrition and sustainable development, decided to start a project related to sustainable food to provide a solution to current and future food issues. The result of this project gives birth to the first European breeding of insects for human food in order to answer environmental and nutritional stakes. Since then, MICRONUTRIS has become a benchmark in the sector and was the first company in the world to obtain an ISO 22,000 certification. At Micronutris, 3 core businesses are an integral part of the business: breeding, processing and marketing. This makes it possible to control the entire value chain and thus offer a wide range of quality products using edible insects.
