FaunaPhotonics is a technology company developing patent pending remote optical sensing technology primarily for use in the agricultural sector. Our insect sensor technology is designed to remotely count and classify insect species for improved decision support. The technology platform automates manual processes optimizing crop scouting processes in agriculture. FaunaPhotonics was founded in 2014 where the optical hardware concept was spun out of Lund University Laser Center. We are funded by private investors, Christian Nielsens Fond and Norsk Elektro Optikk AS.
