New York-based startup Barsys is a fully automated cocktail maker designed to act as a tool for bar-tenders, enabling them to cater more number of customers. In August 2018 they launch residential and commercial versions of a microwave-size robot bartender. The home version will cost $1,050; owners use an app to order from a list of 2,000-plus cocktails, or create their own. Bar owners pay $2,500 for a machine equipped with a data analytics package.
